Upcoming Art Exhibitions at St&MAA’s
"Icons on Ammo Boxes" is a powerful art project created by Kyiv‑based artists Sonya Atlantova, Oleksandr Klymenko, and Herman Klymenko, offering a striking artistic reflection on the Ukrainian–Russian war. At its heart lies a profound transformation: turning an object of death — an ammo box — into a symbol of life, expressed through the ancient tradition of Ukrainian icon painting. From 4-8 Nov.
“Textures of Hope” led by Susie Snyder. The project aims to explore practices, experiences and understandings of hope today. Three community murals will be displayed at StM&AA’s during the Advent Season. If you'd like to find out more about the Textures of Hope project, you can reach out to Susie at susanna.snyder@theology.ox.ac.uk.
