Our Link Parish in S. Africa
St Michael & All Angels is linked to the parish of St Chad's in the town of Taung which is situated in the diocese of Kimberley & Kuruman in South Africa.
Please pray for our link parish as they too pray for us.

Visit of Fr Tefo to Oxford
This picture is of Fr Tefo who is priest at St James, Galeshewa in Kimberley and who is also the Kimberley & Kuruman link officer.
Fr Tefo has been meeting link churches here in the Oxford Diocese to find out how linked churches here might be supported in their partnerships with their link churches in K&K.
Three members of our Partnership of Churches met with Fr Tefo, Jill Galloway and Gill Harper from the Baptist Church and Sue Smith from St Michael's.
Our link Parish is St Chad's in Taung, which is a 2 hour drive from Kimberley.

Visit from our Link Parish,
1st - 11th July 2011
This visit was an inspiration! Seven visitors from St Chad's, Taung came to visit us: to stay in our homes, to eat our food, to see our sights and to share in the life of our four churches.
They smiled, laughed, danced and sang (though I am sure they must have had times of homesickness) and they offered us very warm friendship, and a glimpse of their uninhibited faith in and love for God.
Another marvellous aspect of this visit, was the way our four churches all joined in. It was wonderful to be working, laughing and praying together in our various churches: sharing the experience. …
