Join the Choir
ST MICHAEL'S AND ALL ANGELS CHOIR IS RECRUITING! LONSDALE ROAD, SUMMERTOWN, OXFORD OX2 7ES
This well established and welcoming choir sing most Sunday mornings, Christmas, Easter and occasional evensongs. Repertoire is cathedral style from several countries spanning 500 years.
Since 2015 the choir has sung in Bath Abbey and the cathedrals of Coventry, Gloucester, Bristol, Norwich, Worcester Brecon, Ripon (2023) and Tewkesbury Abbey (2024). August 2025 will see the Choir return to Gloucester Cathedral to sing the services for a weekend.
St Michael's Church has one of the best acoustics in Oxford (many professional ensembles use it for recording). The Choir is led by the Director of Music Duncan Saunderson, a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and a highly experienced professional singer, singing teacher and choral conductor.
