Study Tour to the Holy Land 2006

A trip to the Holy Land is a powerful experience - an eye-opening beautiful landscape torn apart by its history. It is a land that 'holds' you in ways unimaginable unless you have visited.

*see the archaeological sites and understand better the history of the Old Testament

*walk the Via Dolorosa and stand in the place where Jesus was tried

*hear from those who struggle for reconciliation in a land that has been fought over for centuries

A party of 17 from St Michael and All Angels, led by Jan Rushton, embarked on a study tour to the Holy Land from 2nd to 11th April 2006.  On Sunday 4 June those who travelled to the Holy Land gave a presentation in Church of St Michael's Study Tour.  Below is a photo of the group at the Dead Sea, with their guide, Ophir and driver, Emad.

A selection of photos and reports from those who were there for Palm Sunday 2006
