Babies and Children

Babies and children are a vital part of our life at St Michael's and are welcome at all our services.

There is a Sunday Club (Sunday School) for children aged 3+ during the 10am service - except on the first Sunday of the month which continues to be an all-age Family Eucharist.

STORY, SINGING, PRAYER, CREATIVE ACTIVITY

Please support our important venture - contact The Revd Jan Rushton for more details.

On the first Sunday of the month our 10am service is an all-age Family Eucharist planned specially to involve our families and children.

Baby and Toddler Group

This lively group meets on Tuesday mornings from 10.30-12 noon in St Michael's Church, to give parents, grandparents and carers and their children an opportunity for play, friendship and community. There is a charge of £1.50 per adult per session to cover expenses. Refreshments are provided.

If you are new to Summertown, why not come along and meet your neighbours and their families?  Do you simply need a break and want some company?  Come and meet us at St Michael’s!

 ¯¯¯¯ NEW - Choristers at St Michael's  ¯¯¯¯

If your child is coming up to 8 years old, why not introduce him or her to some fabulous music and a great singing opportunity with St Michael's newly formed Choristers. The Choristers rehearse on Thursday evenings from 5.15 to 6.30pm in term time under the leadership of Helen Parker, a professional singer and teacher, and perform once a month during a Sunday service. Rehearsals will resume after half-term on Thursday 5 June. For more details please contact The Revd Jan Rushton on 01865 556079 or by email jan.rushton@lineone.net.

Baptism

Please see our separate section about having your child baptised at St Michael's.
